Personality can be broadly defined as the behavior, feelings, thoughts, that are exhibited by an individual over a prolonged period of time. This has a strong influence on the way an individual perceives himself or herself and the world around them.
An individual’s personality is an intricate combination of characteristics and traits, which determines the expectations, attitudes, values, perception of self, and a prediction of the reaction to particular situations, people, and stress. The list of personality traits shows that there are predominantly five types of personality traits such as extroversion, agreeableness, openness, conscientiousness, as well as emotional stability.
